EPUAP 2025 in Helsinki

Join us in the city of Helsinki, Finland, as we participate in the annual EPUAP conference from September 24th to 26th. This year’s theme, “Care Pathways in the Prevention and Management of Pressure Ulcers”, underscores the importance of structured, patient-centered journeys through the healthcare system, from early detection to prevention and treatment, ensuring seamless, efficient, and effective management of pressure injuries.

At the EPUAP conference, attendees unite to explore a wealth of information, share the latest research discoveries, and exchange valuable experiences focused on the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries.

Our participation in the conference is crucial for networking and strengthening relationships with researchers, potential partners and customers. Equally important is staying updated on the latest trends and research in the pressure injury field by participating in workshops and discussions.

Showcasing our latest research and innovations
As a proud partner of EPUAP, we invite you to visit our booth (no.16). Here, you will have the opportunity for meaningful discussions about our ongoing research and the significance of our findings in advancing innovative medical equipment for pressure ulcer prevention.

Additionally, we will hold a workshop in Restaurant Hall 3 about “Why shear deserves more attention.”

The purpose of this workshop is to highlight the critical yet often overlooked role of shear in the development of pressure injuries. Through clinical insights and practical strategies, the workshop aims to improve understanding and management of shear to support daily care routines, reduce injury risk and strengthen preventive efforts in a sustainable way.

About the workshop
Pressure injuries remain one of the most common and costly preventable care-related injuries. For patients, they may result in pain, complications and prolonged recovery. For healthcare professionals, they bring increased workload, ethical stress, and time taken from other critical care tasks.

In this workshop, we shift focus to one of the lesser known but highly influential contributors to pressure injuries: shear. Through clinical insight and practical knowledge, we explore how a better understanding and management of shear can reduce injury risk, support clinical routines, and make preventive work more effective and sustainable.
