A Conversation with Caroline Fransson, Production Coordinator at Care of Sweden
We spoke with Caroline Fransson at Care of Sweden to gain insight into what is important in her workplace. She shared her personal reflections on the company culture, values, and what makes her role so meaningful.
Caroline says that the best part of working at Care of Sweden is the colleagues; working alongside talented,
supportive coworkers makes a significant difference.
–“When you are surrounded by a team that is not only skilled in their work but also genuinely cares for each other, it creates a work environment where you feel motivated and appreciated. It’s the daily interaction, the joy, and the support from colleagues that creates a workplace you want to be a part of.”
The core values guiding the path forward
Caroline reflects on Care of Sweden’s core values: Knowledge, Happiness and Care, and what they mean to her. For Caroline, these values are more than just words on paper.
–“These values represent the responsibility I feel in both our products and the work environment. It’s about continuous learning, being proud of what we create, and supporting both patients and colleagues. Being able to stand behind my work, knowing that it helps improve the lives of others,” says Caroline.
One of the most meaningful parts of Caroline’s work is when she sees the company’s products used in real life. She describes feeling most proud when she sees the products being utilized in actual healthcare settings.
-“It’s particularly meaningful because I have had relatives in palliative care who used our mattresses, and knowing that our work improved their situation is incredibly rewarding. All you want is for people to be as comfortable and supported as possible during illness and recovery,” says Caroline.
It is in these moments that Caroline truly feels her work has a real impact on people’s lives.
Relationships and development that create added value
During her nearly eight years at Care of Sweden, Caroline has developed significantly, both in her professional role and as a person.
–“Every time I have felt ready for a new challenge, I have had the opportunity to step up and further develop my skills. But beyond that, it’s the relationships I’ve built with my colleagues that stand out. Some of my coworkers have become close friends, and that sense of connection and community is something I truly value,” Caroline concludes.
