In production at Care of Sweden, Alf Hulthén works with a strong commitment to both quality and teamwork. With many years of experience within the company, he has been part of several changes and development initiatives while continuing to grow in his own role. In our conversation, he shares his pride in contributing to something greater and the joy of being part of a team where colleagues support one another, both at work and beyond.
Contributing to something that makes a difference
For Alf, the most rewarding part of his work is the feeling of being involved in something that truly matters. The products manufactured are used by people in need of care and support, and that awareness brings a clear sense of purpose to everyday work.
“Being part of making a difference for those in need means a lot. At the same time, I’m constantly learning new things and gaining a deeper understanding of how everything works.” 
During his time at Care of Sweden, Alf has had the opportunity to work in several departments and be involved in different changes within the organization. When he first joined the company, he commuted weekly to Helab to learn the manufacturing of cushions and gain a deeper understanding of production. He was later part of the move when the factory relocated to Svenljunga and eventually when all of Care of Sweden came together under one roof in Tranemo.
Being able to follow and take part in these transitions has given him new perspectives and valuable experience along the way.
Pride in the team and everyday work
When Alf talks about production, it is clear that the sense of community means a lot. Even though it is difficult to point to a single moment, he feels proud to be part of the team. A good work environment, he explains, is about everything from daily collaboration to being able to talk openly with one another and share a strong sense of connection, even outside of work.
This open atmosphere helps everyone feel included and appreciated. Attention to detail and a willingness to help wherever possible are qualities Alf considers important in his role. He also strives to contribute to strong collaboration, both within production and together with other departments when needed.
Motivation and looking ahead
What motivates Alf the most is the feeling of working for a company that truly makes a difference. Being part of Care of Sweden and contributing to its work brings both pride and job satisfaction.
“I can truly say that I love Care of Sweden and I’m very proud and happy to be part of this organization. I also feel that I’m developing and gaining more knowledge,” Alf concludes.
With a continued desire to grow and contribute wherever he can, Alf looks forward to continuing his journey at Care of Sweden together with colleagues who make each workday both meaningful and rewarding.
