Frequently Asked Questions

Can Optimal 5zon be made in custom sizes?

Optimal 5zon can be made in custom sizes with even 5cm intervals.

What is the difference between Optimal 5zon and Optimal 5zon BM?

The primary difference lies in their intended uses:

Optimal 5zon is a replacement mattress placed directly on the bed base. It’s designed to be used as a standalone mattress and doesn’t require any other base to function properly.

Optimal 5zon BM is a mattress topper placed on top of any base mattress. It’s designed to be used as a complement to an existing base mattress to provide extra comfort and pressure relief.

How does the evacuation/EVAC function work?

We have an instructional video demonstrating how our evacuation cover Evac shall be used, with a step-by-step guide to ensure correct use in case of emergency (note that local evacuation instructions shall be followed to ensure that the evacuation is executed safely). You can find the instructional video here: Video

What is the difference between Optimal 5zon and Optimal 5zon Plus?

Optimal 5zon is designed to support a user weight of up to 180 kg. For additional support needs, we offer Optimal 5zon Plus, which features a reinforced base plate. This enables Optimal 5zon Plus to accommodate a higher user weight of up to 300 kg. For user weights up to 180 kg, we recommend Optimal 5zon.
