Sustainability policy
For us at Care of Sweden, it is important to protect the environment, prevent pollution and contribute to a healthy social development that benefits both people and nature.
We manufacture medical technology equipment for healthcare and our vision is to eliminate pressure ulcers together with the healthcare sector. We look at sustainability issues from a holistic perspective where we work the life cycles of our products and services into our processes and activities, this contributes to economically, socially and environmentally sustainable development. Through our dual materiality analysis, we identify risks and opportunities that provide a framework for setting sustainability goals. It allows us to continuously improve our sustainability performance in the areas where we have the opportunity to make the most impact, which will generate products and services that are more socially, economically and environmentally sustainable than their predecessors.
Care of Sweden must always consider the holistic perspective (benefit – cost – impact) and measure the impact our operations and our products create from a sustainability perspective.
Products and services supplied from Care of Sweden must be produced under conditions that are compatible with human rights in accordance with:
– ILO’s eight core conventions nos. 29, 87, 98, 100, 105, 111, 138 and 182
