EPUAP 2026 in Dublin brought together researchers, clinicians and industry professionals from around the world to discuss the future of pressure injury prevention. As a Gold Sponsor, Care of Sweden participated with a symposium, product demonstration and an exhibition stand, creating valuable opportunities to connect with healthcare professionals, partners and researchers from across the globe.

A symposium bringing together evidence, innovation and lived experience

One of the highlights of the conference was our industry symposium, Clinical Evaluation of an AI-Enabled Autonomous Pressure Management Surface Across Care Settings. The session brought together clinical evidence, technological innovation and real-world experience.

Joan-Enric Torra i Bou presented findings from a clinical evaluation of CuroCell iA®, providing insights into how autonomous pressure management performs across different care settings. Victor Guerrini shared his personal experience of living with and using an autonomous support surface, offering a unique perspective on how technology can support comfort, independence and everyday life. Together with Clinical Manager Fares Al-Khaliliy, the symposium highlighted the potential of autonomous solutions in pressure injury prevention.

Live demonstration of CuroCell® IQ

During the conference, visitors also had the opportunity to attend our product demonstrations of CuroCell® IQ. The demonstrations showcased how autonomous pressure adjustment continuously adapts support to the individual, helping to provide more consistent and personalised pressure injury prevention.
